NUSSU does seem active in helping to get some nice deals for NUS Students. I have a feeling that many of my friends who are in NUS won't even know of some of these nice concessions that NUSSU has helped secured for them.

At least when I was an undergraduate, I have never quite used my matric card for any concession, except to prove that I am a student so as to enjoy cheaper concert tickets.
