Chocolate #5 and #6

Chocolate #5 is a chocolate named LOOK - Cafe A La Mode. It is another Japanese chocolate like Dars, in fact, the packaging is similar to Dars but LOOK is by Fujiya instead of Morinaga.

There are in total 4 different flavours - Espresso, Caramel Latte, Cafe Latte and Almond Latte. The chocolate are already split into pieces inside the packaging so it is easy to eat. Each alphabet of the word LOOK is printed onto the surface of the chocolate and arranged horizontally. Each of the chocolate in each horizontal row thus contains one of the above coffee flavours.

For a non-coffee-lover, this chocolate tastes marvelous. Loved it from the very first bite.

I'm not sure what is the price though because somebody else bought it for our family but don't think it should be expensive at all.

Chocolate #6 is also by LOOK - A La Mode.

Similarly, 4 different flavours - pineapple, strawberry, melon and banana. Arranged in the same fashion as described above and it also tastes nice!

Chocolate #4

Ok, I know I eat very cheapo chocolates, but people no money! So bear with me.

Chocolate number 4 is Meiji's Macadamia. The thing about Macadamia is that it's not about its chocolate but more of the nuts. In fact, macadamia is the name of a nut. The nuts are delicious, crunchy but not too hard to bite into and very smooth. MZ might like these nuts. This particular one came in a box of 12, each in its own hole and costs only $2.75. Really nice and quite addictive.

Chocolate #1: Maltesers
Chocolate #2: Cadbury's Diary Milk Marble
Chocolate #3: Delfi's Choco Mini

Also in the list: sunflower seeds coated in chocolate.

Chocolates & seeds

Wow. Nearly 2 weeks of not stepping out of my house and Hougang Mall has already been painted a grey, orange and red colour. The only reason I stepped out of the house today was because I ran out of red ink for my mindmaps so I had no choice but to head out to buy. While I was there, I thought I'd check out the chocolates. Alright, chocolate #3! So I was down at NTUC again, in that familiar aisle. Since we're not exactly in the best of financial status right now, I picked Delfi's Choco Mini, a small packet (like a cigarette packet) that costs $0.80.

It's addictive. Then again, I find almost all sweets addictive. Anyway it's chocolate coated and has a centre that I don't know how to describe. The centre's white in colour and if you suck it long enough, it becomes soft. On the box it says "assorted" but I don't really know why it's there because apart from the slightly varying sizes of the small chocolates in the box, everything tastes the same. Maybe they meant assorted colours and sizes...

If you are looking for something small and crunchy so that you can pop into your mouth easily, you can consider it. I think a lot of people have eaten Choco Mini before, but have you tried sunflower seeds coated in chocolate? Ok, I think a lot of people have tried that before also, but I don't know where can buy. I only know the shop below my house sells it for $0.80 and I only knew of the existence of it when my sister bought it once. =D I absolutely love it! It's very tiny, colourful and tastes nice because of the mix of sunflower seeds and chocolate. Very easy to finish though and in my opinion, a bit expensive for something like that.

Seeds reminds me of durian seeds. Have you all eaten durian seeds before? I have! No, I don't have metal teeth and I didn't lose any teeth. Try boiling those seeds and then, if I don't remember wrongly, peel off the outer skin and eat the inside. It's delicious! Can't remember what it tastes like, though. Hehz, haven't eaten some in a long while.

Actually I feel like trying the new flavours that kit-kat has, but it's darn expensive at $6 plus, although it's quite a long packet. And there's that minty chocolate as well.

Olivia's birthday is coming up and we have a BBQ this coming Saturday evening. Will have to get her something soon. Saturday's my first paper as well, so wish me luck!

If you all read the article on 4 out of 10 bursaries in NUS being given to foreign students, it'd be nice to know what you all thought about it. There are some parts in the article that I really, really do NOT like.

Cadbury's Dairy Milk Marble

The last time it was Hershey's and Maltesers. This time round it is a huge bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk Marble.

*points accusing finger at friend* MZ made me buy. =D Just kidding.
I promised myself I'd buy a different kind of chocolate everytime I went and she suggested that bar.

I found it too sweet, though the texture is nice. A thin outer layer of light-brown-with-white-chocolate over light-brown-with-white-chocolate filling. The outer layer is relatively harder than the filling inside so that when you bite into it after taking it out of the fridge, you can feel the transition from hard, crunchy to instant smooth, marble-like chocolate.

No, I don't suppose they mean "marble" as in rock-hard marble, but rather smooth like marble.

(Losing) weight; MY sun

Congratulate me, because I am officially 42kg (going on 43).

*big grin*

Now I'm back to 3 years ago when I actually feel fat. Ok, I should hit the pool or the gym soon if not I'll really regain whatever I lost last year, which I should be happy about, right? Not exactly. I liked having a flat tummy, where I can kind of see the shape of the abs.
Yar, I can't make up my mind which I prefer. I'm indecisive. Just this afternoon, I spent 10 minutes at the chocolate section in NTUC, trying to decide which one(s) to buy. Had a sudden chocolate craving since yesterday.
You should also note that I made the choice of walking all the way to the mall, which is an approximately 15 - 17 minutes walk away, instead of buying some random chocolate from downstairs because

1) The choices are wider at the mall

2) The prices are lower (by the way, cheers sell their chocolates way more expensive.)

3) I think my legs need more exercise because they are fat

4) The same goes to my body

5) Bascially I think I need to lose weight

Consider the last 3 points and the fact that I bought 2 bars of Hershey's chocolate and an entire bag of Maltesers. And while checking out the name of the bag of chocolates in the fridge, I just ate one more maltesers. Hehz. Oh maltesers are really good! You all have to try them!

Okay, that's it! I'm going to start exercising again!

------------------------
The sun is an orange glob again today, so I decided to share the news with 3 of my friends because well, nobody looks up in the sky to look at the sun, right? Wrong. 2 of them replied that they had seen it already. I guess I could find comfort in the fact that the third friend asked how come like that, but I suspect she had already known.

Damn. I thought I was the one only who noticed it...

...It was supposed to be MY orange-glob-sun.
